Since 1949, The Alley has been the premier social hub for the Highwood community. Named Minstrel’s Alley back in the 70’s, The Alley was a popular concert hall for well known acts such as The Ramones, The Jump in the Saddle Band and Cheap Trick. Later, in the 80’s, the lanes were restored to their original condition and it has since become a popular venue for bowlers, special events, and corporate and private parties. In 2005, The Alley was purchased by new owners and now offers automatic scoring, giant projection tvs, a full menu and bar, billiards, baggo, darts and a state of the art sound system for our "Rock and Bowl" events which include some of Highwood’s finest entertainment.

BRAZEN HEAD is host to some of the areas finest acoustic artists that the area has to offer. As a staple of the south side bar and entertainment scene, this Irish styled pub had been serving the community for many years.
